I have a friend in the HP fandom who mutters dark things about 'Snape falls in TWU WUB and washes and cuts his hair and cleans up and is really really cuuuuute!' fics.

There's something disturbing about the whole thing, in a Silence of the Lambs type of way. ("They're making themselves a canon suit out of real canons!")
