That's normal for free services--since you are not a paying customer and have no contractual relationship with them, they don't have to provide you anything at all, and can withdraw what they choose to give you any time, for any reason. And they can set any arbitrary conditions on your usage.

Paying customers of various types of services have a contractual relationship with their service provider, and can't have service yanked arbitrarily--only for reasons in the contract they agreed to. Of course, most service providers have TOS/AUP in their contracts that are almost as restrictive as the "free" services, but they must at least give a reason that falls within the contract--or you and your credit card company can take all your money back.

Point? Not much, except that users of "free" services have no leverage and no rights; paying customers do. And you can, if you look around, find more agreeable TOS for paying services than you can for freebies ones. For example, it is very hard to find freebie services that are adult friendly. "Free" service providers don't want to deal with the liability issue when all they are getting is miniscule advertising revenues.
