Subject: shockingly, I agree with everything you think, Doyle.

...about this sequel, anyway ;)

well...except the bit about the music. I honestly don't even remember the music in the sequel, which is why it didn't do much for me, I guess. I was jazzed after the first one. Rushed right out and bought the soundtrack and listened to Spybreak! about a zillion times. I couldn't even tell you what played in this flick.

Like you, I'm also pissed at the little-to-no explanation we got about Tank's whereabouts. He *so* did not die at the end of the last movie, but that's what they led us to believe. Oh...I suppose he *could* have died from his wounds later on, or maybe he wasn't shown getting crushed by one of the sentinels after the EMP took it out or something, but that's just lame. He was fine, damnit! Tank's not dead, damnit!

And I, too, missed the two other agents from the first one (and not just because one of them was my lil psycho honey bunny Stark ;) ), as well as Smith's actually being dangerous. Even though it was mildly amusing in its own right, the scene where the other agent recognizes him (Other Agent: "You." Smith: "Yes, me.") woulda had more impact if it was one or both of the agents from the first one that'd been left in charge when he was disconnected.

Ah well. Still gotta see X2. Though I'm not really looking forward to it, because I know enough to turn me off it. I don't like the idea of Wolvering still trying to get it on with Jean, when she's with Scott, damnit. And I don't like Rogue being with Bobby or whatever, when she had a crush on Logan in the first flick. Damnit.
