Subject: Agent Smith: "Insert the rod.";)...
In reply to: qc 's message, "Re: Well, I finally saw Matrix Reloaded last night and I have plenty to say about it...**why yes, there would be spoilers inside**" on 11:38:47 06/03/03 Tue

Or maybe it should be goo-guy who says that *g*. Yes, Agent Smith was *not* up to his usual standard. I mean, think about it, in the first one he was able to kill Neo (like you said, qc) and there was only *one* of him. There's like a hundred of him in this film and he still doesn't manage to kill Neo. Though Neo *has* become ridiculously powerful so I guess that's the reason why Smith had a hard time killing him. Still, Smith came close to killing Neo didn't he? When he almost made him a clone. (speaking of Smith turning ppl into clones, he almost did it to Morpheus as well. Am I the only one who thought it woulda been more dramatic if someone important had died in this movie...and *wasn't* able to be brought back to life?) As for your description of that scene I liked...yes, it might seem sad but I liked his xena-style-kicking-while-holding-onto-the-pole damnit:) And I never played Tekken. Yeah, and why was it they couldn't bring back the other characters who survived the first movie? Were the ppl who played the other two agents in the first film plus the guy who played Tank just not interested or did the Wachowski Bros. just not want 'em back? Personally, I think I'd be hard-pressed to sit through Reloaded a second time. If ya want a better sequel, go see X-Men2;)
