Subject: The writer was attempting to be funny. He failed miserably. I'm not embarrassed by Vinnie Iyer's inability to write a humorous article. Sorry, Simster (a/k/a Chip Burgermeister, a/k/a Irony Bypass). BTW, more Americans understand and enjoy "soocer". This is due to the rapid growth (over the past 20 years) of youth soccer leagues. My 6 year old boy will be playing this summer.
