Subject: Reasons why yesterday were a good day

2. It was my 30-somethingth birthday and I got taken out for a surprise dinner on a Danish Lightship

3. The surprises continued with an almost front row ticket, to see a (un-named) pop group in concert.

4. I was offered, and accepted, a job as finance director starting the week after next.

5. Byers finally took the hint that everyone hates him and went.
