I dunno. maybe the same reason why we never started playing until numerous weeks into the preceding 2 seasons? I have my own theory based around the lack of quality in our pre-season opponents, but maybe the real reason is that the presence of leaves on trees scares the players (would explain the constant play-off failures). Possibly even that the lads won't give 100% for Turner until they've been out trick-or-treating? -- Welcome to the Bottom of the Barrel
