Subject: Russ Howarth

Our reserve keeper, Russ Howarth, has been called up to the England U-21 for tonight's match. He'll start on the bench after the lad from West Ham injured his wrist.

This is a remarkable achievement for both Russ and York City's youth team set up. When was the last time a 3rd division played for England at any level ?
