Bottom of The Barrel Imposter faces charges

A Nick Pickering imposter is in custody after he was accused of harassing the legendary long-term BoTB contributor.

Dave Sussman, 34, is alleged to have posted a number of fake tUS's and Dan Flackmans to www.bottomofthebarrel.co.uk along with personal details relating to The Usual Suspect. He is also suspected of being involved with an outbreak of impostering involving a significant number of false OMPs, fake Simsters and bogus BGs.

Sussman, of St Johns Crescent, Bedminster, Bristol, was arrested in Merseyside on May 14 - ironically on the same day Pickering was demonstrating one of his new wacky characters to other member of the BoTB.

He appeared before Wirral Magistrates Court on Monday accused of football messageboard harassment and was remanded in custody to appear again on June 10.

Pickering, acclaimed for his crazy off-the-wall humour and marathon character performances, has been contributing to the BoTB for around 3 years.

Originally from York he now lives and works in Cambridgeshire.
