Titled: "Last Year This Was A Great Event"
"I headed down there thinking that it was going to consist of a couple dozen tables of crap that nobody would want, but I was wrong, even blown away. Hun- dreds of vendors selling a wide range of desired items, in a nice clean friendly building. It was part swap meet, part trade show, part media bonanza. I ran into A.J. Watson as we were grabbing for the same item last year and he was real nice."

Besides all the great deals, great times, and GREAT DOOR PRIZES from Advanced Racing Suspensions, Beast/East Ent., Benic Ent., Ellis Race Cars, C&R Racing, Hoosier Tire Midwest Indy, Kercher Engines, Kokomo Speedway (2 Grandstand Season Passes!), Indy Race Parts, and Weiland Racing Ent. You will certainly want to attend the first "Roundy Round Table"! This will be an open round table discussion where you ask the questions to some of today's movers & shakers in the racing world! This event has generated many, many calls to Shoestring Racing H.Q., and should be a "happening" you won't want to miss!
As previously announced, we are proud to have: Floyd Bailey (Mini-Sprint), Scott Benic (Wing Sprint), Bob East (Open Wheel Car Builder), Steve Ellis (Modified Car Builder), Earl Gaerte (Engine Builder), Rollie Helmling (U.S.A.C. President), Larry Rice( K & K Insurance/TV Commentator), and Jiggs Thomason (Gas City I-69 Speedway Promoter) ready to answer your questions!
The panel will be moderated by National Speed Sport News columnist/Author extraordinaire/TV Commentator, Dave Argabright! Hopefully, Dave will have his latest effort, "EARL" available!?! If so, there is nothing like a signed copy from the author! Line-up of guests subject to change.

Titled: "Thanks"
"I just wanted to take a minute to say thank you to Danny Smith, Tim Cox, Dave Darland, J.J. Yeley, Louie Mann, Ray Kennens, Kevin Thomas, Kevin Oldham, Tony Elliott, Jon Stanbrough, Terry Shepherd, Shane Hollingsworth, John Hydenreich, and Josh Spencer. I had a paper to do for a college class concerning sports legends and rituals. While attending the Kokomo Swap Meet, I had a chance to interview these drivers. Thanks to their willingness to take a few minutes out of their day to help finish the interviews and article for class."

The Hoosier Racers Swap Meet 5. Saturday January 22nd @ the Johanning Civic Center in Kokomo, IN! General admission is just $5, under 12 free.
