First of all, Derek and Jeanette, welcome home after your holidays. I hope you had a great time? I also hope you can make it on Thursday, Derek and in the meantime get yourself Skyped and join the club!

I had every intention of writing something to the board last night but when I came to compose a message, I found myself with nothing to say!! "What's that," I hear you all saying, "gobby Parker with nothing to say? Quick, lets all post messages to each other and not give him a chance to get back on the board.".............Yeh! As if. No, seriously folks, I should have said I had TOO much to say but couldn't find a place to start. There are so many things I could rant about but I am afraid I'm getting too 'Victor Meldrew-ish', in my dotage, and I must make an effort to be a bit more up beat about life, so I am going to attempt to not 'go off on one' at the least provocation. Hard, I know! but we'll see!

So, wearing my new 'up-beat' and optimistic, rose tinted glasses, what can I chat about? Mmmmm...........................................what about?.....................no................................then there's....................................................maybe not..........................................well how about.......................nah Bugger! it's not as easy as I thought. Maybe I had better have a rethink about this and get back to you all soon. Mmmm.......................
