Betty Lee,
Hi. You were so inspired to write to me right now. Yesterday I felt the inspiration to contact you and ask you to please start a prayer chain on behalf of a little baby, Madylan Piper Allis who was born on Oct 15
this year. She is my first grandchild. She is literally fighting for her little life. She is in respiratory distress and not breathing on her own and has pneumonia or some other germ that is keeping her from producing something called "surfectant" ?? (spelling?) without which her lungs will not be able to learn to breathe on their own.
I have felt impressed to ask everyone I know to pray for her to overcome this problem. She has an i.v. in each foot and in each arm and was being fed through a tube through her belly button until that fell off and now the line is going through her little foot (ouch). She has had a tube down her throat into her lungs with her little face taped together to hold it in place since she was born. She is living on vitamins and on dextrose and needs to start nursing soon. Please ask all caring people you know to pray for this little baby girl.
I know they will be blessed for their concern and prayers in her behalf.
