Thursday, the doctors noted an incredible improvement..my daughter and her husband are noticing too and so very grateful! She's not out of the woods yet, (little Madylan Allis Piper who is 13 days old as of Sun today Oct 27, '02) however she is down to 38 percent oxygen (Sat.) from 98 and she was even for the first time..allowed to go skin to skin with her mommy yesterday (Saturday)-----Also keep the prayers coming...she still as far as they can tell can't be sure if she's developed the surfectant(spelling?) but I have to have faith that she has or is..but
a blessing stated that if the prayers keep coming and there is faith that she will improve and live, that was a week ago, before I wrote you, the Holy Spirit told me to contact you and then the next morning you wrote me...I was amazed!! I had had the inspiration that your prayer group online would be the added boost we needed.

I also called several Christian ministries on t.v. and did an email to my church members and to my Temple prayer roll in many cities...I know this little girl is special , cause I think the devil wanted to take her off of this earth..the hospital messed up so many times...more on that later.

Anyway, an additional request is for my childhood friend also named Linda, interesting parallel. Linda Bennett Gaffney's Leukemia (she had been in remission for one year) just returned this past month. She is on chemo again and in the Springfield Baystate Medical Hospital in Mass. She is very spiritual and sweet and loves the Lord's earth, animals and children and is still interested in helping others with their problems even though she is nauseous and suffering herself.
We need mucho prayers of faith for this dear sister on our planet earth as well. We need to pray that she will not lose hope and give up as she seems borderline depressed and worried and she usually doesn't do that even when this sick with cancer.

Remember Madylan please still, we must not give up..I've been praying for blessings to be showered upon all who pray and God is listening..the spirit is strong with me here. Love you all who pray for Madylan and Linda. God Bless you all and thank you so much..God loves you so much and so do I. Love, Elizabeth/Grace
