Subject: Little Akaida is in real need of our prayers, as things are really bad for her right now.

The last two weeks have been spent mostly in one hospital or another and the doctor in NYC decided that surgery on the latest tumor is not going to do her any good. She has not been able to eat solid food for two weeks because the tumor is blocking her esophogus. At present she is having radiation again to try to at least shrink the growth so she can eat. Her fifth birthday is June 19th, but by the sounds of things it will be her last, if she makes it that far.

I ask that you include her in her prayers, that if she is not to have a miracle cure, that she at least have comfort and peace in her final days, weeks or however long she has. The fight for a cure website has made her child of the month for June 2003.
