Hello Friends,

I wanted to let you know how Amanda was doing... she is doing great.

This is the email I received from Amanda HERSELF!

"Hello Family and Friends

I wanted to write and let you know I am home and doing pretty good.

Thank God for the miracle of a healing. I am cancer free at this moment, but the doctors said most likely there are dormant cells that will grow slow and wont be detected for a couple years and we will take care of those as they show up. I guess I am one for the books as they say, with this rare kind of cancer.

I am so grateful for your prayers.

I truly feel that is was the prayer warriors that held the death angel at bay. I felt surrounded with angels at all times and I know that God performed this miracle because of the hundreds of people who prayed for my healing. Thank you for being one of my prayer angels.

I came home a couple days ago and am just now able to get to the computer to write. My sister has been trying to get a letter out but AOL has stopped every attempt she has made the past couple day, either AOL or the devil, and it could be either or both. I know the devil does not want me to get the word out that God answered our prayers. But that wont stop me from praising his glory and spreading the word of what he done for me.

I'm feeling pretty good, am able to get out of bed and walk a little now. My moms cure for all this is to eat and eat some more. Bless her heart. She is better now too. The worry was awful for her.

I have received so many get well wishes and it is so uplifting to receive all these cards from people I know and many that I don't. And the inquiries made to my sister about me. Such thoughtfulness is much appreciated.

My next CT to determine the progress of the surgery will be in a couple weeks. But the doctors have told me they cant believe that they did not have to perform a full wipple surgery, and that the pancreas did not have to be removed. This alone has eliminated so many side effects and future problems. Praise God! The last CT showed NO cancer. Now I will continue with CTs every 3 months to watch for cancer cells that might start to grow, then will face them at that time. The doctors said that I have added 10 to 15 years to my life and that if any cancer should appear, that the new technology in 10 to 15 years will be much advanced and will solve a cancer problem most likely in a much better way and will again add more years to my life, they have also said perhaps more can be known about this particular kind of cancer... AT this time I'm trying to not cross a bridge before I get to it and bask in the today of my life and rejoice in what the Lord hath done.

It takes about 6 months for a liver to grow back to its normal size, so for now, I plan to just lay around and let my liver grow..lol

Then watch out world 'Amanda's Back'....lol... Give me my camera and give me film....lol

As you can see, prayers for Amanda have been answered...and I can't thank you enough myself...
I have another favor to ask... actually a few... GOSH, my family has alot going on right now... so much I don't even know where to start, I feel like I have been in the middle of a huge huricane all day just spinning from one crisis to another... I am too tired to go into detail right now, but please say a prayer for all 3 of my children.. Greg and his family, Bryan and his family, his son Jonathon & his mom and brothers... and even my daughter Missy's situation...I promise to come back hopefully tomorrow sometime and fill you all in, but for now... I could sure go for some boredom and just a quiet peaceful, productive day. I love you all... and thank you so much again for what you did for Amanda, prayers were answered and thank you God.
