Just curious about the meaning of the shorthand used there as I am a person who likes to learn all I can, whenever I can. I try to learn at least one new thing each day, if I can, and hope I can retain it long enough to actually keep it around for future reference; I have short term memory loss, so it's important to keep exercising the old brain as much as possible.

BTW - Just so you know, self esteem is not a problem for me, or I wouldn't post on a public messageboard and sign my real name. Depression is not caused by low self esteem but by chemical imbalance in the brain; it also goes hand in hand with Jacksonian Epilepsy sometimes, which is why I also have short term memory loss, from the presciption drugs I was on for several years to control the seizures. I tell you that just so you understand that I may get down sometimes really badly, when my system's out of sync here, but I don't dislike myself; I know that I'm basically a good person and I'm doing the best I can to get through each day as best I can while fighting to keep the "black monster" at bay while I climb out of the valley of darkness, one step at a time.
