Betty, it was a tropical storm. It hit directly north of me, with the majority of weather in my area and north.
We had a lot of high winds and a lot of rain. But it was not that bad. In our area, we had flooding of homes along the river.
Our power was out for 3 hours. Friends of ours had power out for almost 3 days. But, this was a cake walk compared to the tragedies in New York and Washington, D.C.
Almost everyone I know said the samething.

I am glad everyone made it home, safely.
