Jade smiled alluringly as Erlic hooked his arm in hers and led her toward the spiders' entry tunnel. She looked up into it as Erlic gestured for her to stay at the bottom. She nodded silently. No sense in alerting any spiders to their presence, if any were lurking in there. Apparently none were, however, and Jade watched as Erlic chipped away at various spots with an old dagger then sprinkled something around the area. She was very curious what the substance was, but kept quiet, watching. She grinned as she watched him from behind. Nice ass... she thought to herself.

Finally Erlic climbed back down and they took cover behind a stalagmite, where he proceeded to unfold that interesting bow of his (That would come in handy at times... she thought) and affix some sort of special head to an arrow.

“I suggest you take cover,” he said with a wink. “No sense in both of us getting hurt.” Jade grinned, "Of course. Do take care, darling." And she flattened herself against the back of the stalagmite.

Erlic fired the special arrow at the entrance mouth. With a loud explosion the tunnel and entrance were collapsed, rubble flying out to pelt the area with chips and chunks. She knelt behind the stalagmite closer to Erlic when the explosion occurred and fortunately none of the flying shards hit her. Quite talented, isn't he? she mused.

Once he'd folded his bow back up and put it away, he helped her up and they headed for a house near the underground stream. Erlic put out his hand, motioning her to stay back. She watched curiously as he put on some special gloves and began checking the door handle, presumably for traps. Her eyes sparkled as he disabled the trap he found there. So... he had talents in thievery as well. She would have to ask him about himself sometime. She was sure the tale would be fascinating.

"Why would someone trap a house in the middle of a village?" She asked aloud. But Erlic was already opening the door. A jet of fire shot from the doorway and Jade started to react, beginning to drop out of the way as she muttered, "Crap!". Erlic was quicker and leapt on her, knocking her to the ground and covering her body with his own. Hmmm... this has interesting possibilities, she mused.

They both looked back at the doorway, but nothing further came flying out. When Erlic looked back down at her, she met his eyes, her own green eyes sparkling with amusement and... something else. "Are you alright?" he asked her with a slight smile. She let her arms encircle him, her hands sliding up his back to rest on his shoulderblades. "Never better, darling," she said, smiling invitingly. "You really know how to get a girl's attention."
