As Isobel stripped off her clothing, Ravin eyed her intently. The sight of her nearly naked body sent ripples of desire through him. His breathing deepened when he remembered the wonderful time they had spent together in the centaur's tent and in the stream afterwards. You're one hell of a lucky man Rue, to have someone like her show an interest in you.

His eyes slid closed when she wrapped her arms around him and nibbled at his neck. He pulled her closer, his hands running up and down her spine as their lips met in a heated kiss. If only the moment could last forever! Remembering the others present in the water, he put some distance between them and led her to the edge of the hot spring where they could sit comfortably against the smooth rocks.

When he met her eyes, he thought of Kyri. Although he had been married to her for a year, they never truly got to know one another. One adventure after another always prevented them from discussing personal issues, and he didn't want the same thing to happen with Isobel. He already knew that she was a perfect bedmate, but he wanted to know a lot more about her.

"Tell me more about your past," he said, slipping his hand into hers. "I want to know about your home, your family, and any close friends and lovers you had." He kissed the tip of her nose then let his eyes roam along her beautiful face. "I made the mistake of not talking to my ex-wife enough. Maybe if we would have talked more I could have helped her with the inner demons that plagued her." He ran a finger along Isobel's cheek and smiled. "I want to know everything about you Isobel, if you're willing to share yourself with me that is. Tell me about the things that have hurt you in the past, and how I can go about making you happy."
