Barry had shot up into the air as if fired out of a cannon when Corum hand pushed him under the water and let go. He had sputtered indignantly. It just wasn't fair that he couldn't control whether or not someone shoved him completely into the water!

But soon he realized the view from up here was great, and he floated around looking down on the half naked people. His eyes nearly bugged out of their sockets when he caught sight of Jade topless rubbing all over Erlic. But then they had to go and get up and leave, spoiling his voyeuristic fun.

He watched as everyone cavorted and eventually most of them paired off to either go knock knees or eat or sleep. He was surprised to see the addle-cove and Tia having what appeared to be a flirtatious little fling and then head off for one of the houses. "Way to go, Chief!" he said softly to himself.

Finally he tired of floating around up there and drifted down to the cooking fire. Where were those Jann chits when you needed them? He could have used a nice massage about now.

He saw Jeremy and Saras talking by the fire and floated over to them. "'Sup, cutters? I think my eyes are about to pop outta my head from all these half naked dames running around!"

He noticed Saras looked distinctly miserable. Well, that's what could happen when you were a guy who looked like a girl. Gender confusion.

"You look like a drowned rat," he commented unthinkingly. "Fall in?"
