Subject: Java and plans

The sound of a pin dropping could probably wake Ravin up since he had always been a very light sleeper. His eyes flew open when he felt Isobel stir beside him, a grin coming to his face after she kissed the corner of his mouth. He yawned then stretched before pulling her closer. For several minutes he simply held her, content to feel their bodies pressed together. At times like this there was no need for words since they would only spoil the beauty of the peaceful moment. Ravin had no idea how long they slept, but it must have been long enough because he felt quite rested.

"I could really use a nice hot cup of java about now," he whispered. When Isobel wholehearted agreed that java was definitely needed, he laughed then kissed her cheek before easing out from the bed. It took a while to find the underwear they had tossed aside in their frenzied passion, but when they did they slipped the garments on quickly. Hand in hand they made their way outside to retrieve the rest of their belongings that lay near the hot spring.

Once they were completely clothed and had all their weapons in place, they moved to sit by the cookfire. Thankfully, the Jann had two pots of java brewing. Ravin filled two mugs, passing one to Isobel before glancing around the underground village. Although they had found some money and other trinkets there was no sign of the Peacock Throne or the branches of Midnight Hue.

"According to your map we have two more temples to explore as well as a number of other large buildings," he said, turning his brown eyes to Isobel. "Once we're all ready to move on again, I think I'm going to suggest that we break up into two groups. That way we can cover a lot more of the ruins faster."
