Argus was mildly alarmed when the hussy started screeching for the doctor, but then he caught sight of the lovely elven woman who had brought him water earlier. She didn't seem concerned. In fact, she acted almost as if seeing Ravin sitting there slack-jawed with glazed eyes and sweating was a common occurrence. Well, then, he wasn't going to worry about it either.

He looked approvingly at Laurel. Here was a woman who knew how to dress properly, by the gods! None of those flimsy clothes that were practically nothing but a strip of material and a string for her. Briefly he let his mind wander to picture what Laurel would look like in that outfit the hussy was wearing. His thoughts snapped back to reality when he realized the woman was speaking to him.

“Where is this Kelkenney place you claim to be from?” she asked. “If it's truly far away, I don’t suppose we can be of much assistance to you.”

Argus looked at Laurel as if she were daft. "Whuz is Kelkenney?" he said in disbelief. "It's de capitol o' Brytonland, woman! Yew know whuz dat is, ay'm guessin'." He frowned when she looked blankly at him. "It must be east o' e'yer. De gateway couldn't 'uv gone far from de temple. Thieves must 'uv stolun it and brought it e'yer ay reckon...." He stopped speaking for a moment, just looking at her.

"Yew know, yew 'uv lovely 'air... it dead blazes in de sunlight. Reminds me o' a bird ay once knew..." his voice trailed off and he cleared his throat.

"Anyroad ay suppose ay'll 'uv ter come along with yew ter dis Twilight place, dun. Dese centas dun seem ter 'uv any idear wha ay'm gabbin' about." Under his breath he added, "Not dat most o' yew lot do."
