Isobel was relieved to have gotten through the ghouls, though she did not feel very well and suspected she had been infected with the ghouls' disease. She had bitten the one ghoul and another hand raked her forearm with its claws during the battle.

She knew Valhorek would be with the others, though, so she pushed on, not mentioning it to her compadres. She did not wish to appear to be weak. When they arrived at the tower the dog insisted on sniffing around the base, lifting its leg on the building. It then wagged its tail happily and trotted off around the tower as the rest of them made their way inside.

They could hear voices and they made their way to the room where everyone was gathered. Once inside, Isobel started to look for Valhorek but her attention was diverted by the sight of Raven kneeling before a bald, naked woman in a cell. No, she was not naked. She was dressed only in a cloak. Isobel's eyebrows shot up in surprise. No... this could not be what it looked like... and she had to chuckle to herself as Ravin stood, having unlocked the woman's shackle, and introduced everyone.

As the Jade woman told her story, Isobel moved forward to stand beside Ravin. She felt foolish doing so, as if she was marking her territory for the new woman's benefit, but she slipped an arm around Ravin's back. "We ran into ghouls in the ruins," she told him before staggering suddenly as a wave of nausea hit her. "I ... I think I need el doctór," she said as she slid slowly to the floor. "The ghouls..." but she couldn't speak as another wave hit her. She broke out in a cold sweat and began to shiver.

Valhorek was busy with Corum, so when the snotty hussy collapsed Argus pushed forward. He knelt down beside her and touched her clammy forehead. "It's de ghoul's gairm, fe certain. Ay tin sl'n a spell and try ter cer yew if yew want," he told her. Isobel slowly nodded, fighting the nausea.

"Yew 'ad bedder not puke ed me while i'm cast'n it," he warned her gruffly, and began to chant a spell. He placed his hands above her chest, trying not to stare at her breasts as they practically popped out of her top at him.... right beneath his hands, too. He could just lower them a little and touch them.... Ach! Now they were corrupting him with their wanton ways. Tempting him to thoughts of lustful pleasures.

As he cast his spell a warm golden glow seemed to settle over Isobel and she relaxed, feeling much better. "Gracias, Padre," she told him.

"Yeah, grassy ass ter yew tew," he said, still staring at her breasts.

He stood up and looked around at the others. "Does anyone else need 'eal'n? 'ry while de offer still lasts."

His eyes fell on Laurel then and he smiled. "Ae yew all right, La'el?" he asked gently.
