Barry floated happily off behind the native chit, turning to look back at Jeremy with a leer. "Why the hell did she choose HIM instead of me?" Jeremy moaned.

Barry shouted "Because I'm much better looking!" just as Marz expressed the same sentiment. He cackled and followed the woman into her cave.

Ducking between the flaps of the skin that covered the mouth of the cave, Barry stopped in mid-air once he was inside. The cave was packed with skulls! Skulls mounted on the wall, skulls on torchieres, skulls lined up on shelves against the wall, even an odd-looking skull with horns that hung just above the cave exit."Uhhh... lady, I don't think I want to be added to your collection!" He said, backing away.

"Pft! No add you to collection... Hama make you MASTER of collection. You make skulls talk and fly... Hama give you power beyond measure!" She offered slyly.

"Yeah, yeah whatever, uh... Hama," Barry said as he turned away.

"I not Hama!!" the woman laughed, finding it wildly funny. "Hama be shaman! I Nufura. I third wife of Hama."

"Wife!! You never told me you were married!" Barry said, growing distinctly more nervous as he noticed a large, heavy-set man blocking the cave entrance. The basher was so big he practically filled the entire mouth of the cave! "I don't mess around with married dames," Barry said. "It's not right!"

Nufura had begun to lose her good humor. "You make skulls talk to Hama!"

"But ya see, lady, I can't make the skulls talk! They're all... well, dead! I mean DEAD dead... you know... permanently in the Dead Book!"

Nufura looked angry. "You dead but you talk! Your shaman talk to skull on his staff. Now you make Hama skulls talk! You not like it if Hama get mad."

Barry wondered if the three minutes was up yet. "Lady, I'm tellin' ya I can't! I can't make the skulls talk! Someone else made me talk! I DON'T PIKIN' KNOW HOW!!!" And with that he flew straight at the huge man blocking the entrance, aiming right for his head.

"This is gonna hurt me more than it hurts you," he said as he slammed into the huge cutter's head with a loud crack and ricocheted off, hitting the wall of the cave. He was momentarily knocked senseless and the gigantic guard seized him, holding him tightly in two massive hands.

Numura walked over to where Barry was held captive. "Make skulls talk, or you no leave here." She gestured to the large guard, who shoved Barry roughly into a sort of birdcage that contained a snake.

"Watch the eyes! Watch the eyes!" He yowled as the man's thumb poked him good in his left eyeball. Barry looked mournfully at the snake, which appeared to be sleeping at the moment.

"I hope that pikin' three minutes is up soon," he muttered.
