Author: Ravin Rue
Subject: Introductions
In reply to: Marz 's message, "What did she say her name was?" on 10:00:12 11/21/01 Wed

Ravin was in the middle of filling his plate with eggs when a group of zombies dragged a dark-haired woman into the dining hall. Obviously, Queen Kazabet had left orders not to be disturbed. Why else would her undead guards bring the woman here?

He flew from his chair when the vile creatures flung her to the floor, where she hit her head. Before he could offer to help her to her feet, she rose on her own, not looking at all pleased with her situation. Ravin couldn't blame her after the treatment she just received from the smelly monstrosities! She glared at him along with everyone else in the room before placing her hands on her hips and reciting her name.

"Your disgusting zombies have captured me. I demand to be freed immediately!"

Marz and his friends, who entered the room at that moment, momentarily drew Ravin's attention. Once they took seats at the table he turned back to the woman he now knew as Isobel Maria Contadina Phillipa Manuela Esteban y Delgado. "I apologize for the zombie's action, milady," he said. "They have orders from Queen Kazabet to apprehend anyone that sets foot in the city of Siwas. The Queen has many enemies, but once it is made known that you are not one of those enemies, I'm certain you will be allowed to leave."

He took a step closer, raising his hands in a gesture of peace when he saw her tighten her grip on the hilt of her weapon. "We are guests here and mean you no harm unless your reason for coming to the Queen's Palace has some malicious intent behind it." Ravin let his words sink in. He spoke again once his empathy allowed him to sense that her initial anger was fading a bit.

"I am Ravin Rue; a member of this group of adventures that sit at the table." Seeing that he had her full attention, he went on to introduce everyone. He pointed to Erlic first. The older thief had a look of apprehension on his face that said his trust had to be earned. "This is Erlic and to his left sits his student Marz and his friends, Tristan and Corum."

Ravin grinned when he saw Marz give Isobel a wink then he moved on to introduce the otherworldly youth, Jeremy, the mercenary, Justin, and the petite blonde, Tia. Next he turned to Rowan and Laurel, giving the newcomer their names. He didn't miss the overly friendly smile that Rowan graced the woman with. After moving to stand beside Val, he placed his hand on the man's shoulder. "This is Valhorek, a brilliant healer."

When Ravin noticed Sarra, Neramii, and Kandarin standing just inside the doorway watching the proceedings, he introduced them as well then pulled out a chair for Isobel. "Why don't you join us for breakfast and tell us a little bit about yourself, and why you have come to the undead city of Siwas."
