Subject: A Companion's fate.
In reply to: Chani *spoilers for Doctor Who* 's message, "You gotta love Moffat's Doctor Who !!!" on Sunday, August 28, 10:05:02am

They did more than hint at the usual Companion's fate last night and I have to wonder if that's one more clue about why River is kinda/sorta in prison....plus looking at the evolution of Rory (bloody priceless!) and I am left thinking that River's good man is indeed very close to her. Of course this might all turn out to be utter crap because of timey/wimey manipulation (hard to realize still that her life is very far from being linear) but somebody is going to be left crying.

.

I won't lie to you, reaction to this episode online is very mixed and some fans are getting tired of the hi-jinks. I, however, am easily amused and was in stitches in several paces as Melody let 'er rip!! Obviously when you combine a passionate human being with the skill set of a Time Lord, you get something pretty damn amazing and River most certainly is that.

However as much as we want to guess ahead and use what we think are clues to how things play out, Eleven did remind us that he lies and speculation might be rubbish.

I was totally not expecting a backstory themed episode with this one. But it was a really fun way to kick off the rest of the season and here is hoping that the rest if the season is as good...next week looks bloody scary and since it has that creepy actor who played the Devil at the end of "Ashes to Ashes", I'm already getting a tad freaked out. LOL.

"As far as I can tell, true Doctor Who fans are passionate about Doctor Who in general, but scathing about any specific part of it they actually encounter. The perfect Doctor Who story would be one from 1964 where not only have all the episodes been wiped, but so have all the off-air sound recordings, all the scripts have been burned, all the cast members have died in mysterious circumstances and no one can quite remember what the name was. That would be perfect.

It seems to be a lot of work, being a fan, as opposed to just enjoying the episodes as they come along. Or not, according to taste.
"

Lol, this seems to be true.

"Series six is Moffatt inviting those who like to spoil the ending for everyone else to go screw themselves. We've already seen the ending. We've already seen the beginning. We're just waiting for him to tell us the middle bits. Personally, I love it even though I don't believe you can actually spoil a story."
