With IOP it usually takes around 12 weeks. I was able to get out a little early, I talked to my councelor and asked if I could return to work at 10 weeks and continue in counceling the additional two weeks and he agreed. I was able to return to work after 10 weeks. I was then given my "contract" - five years. Since you've been clean and sober for six years now, that may be different (and let's hope so) for you. I had to then complete a year of after care along with the terms of my contact. Alot of hoops to jump through, but you've been through all that before, so you know what's coming.
