Subject: Yo yo not a hobo Author: Joey mankes [ Next Thread | Previous Thread | Next Message | Previous Message ] Date Posted: 15:33:30 04/07/04 Wed Insomnia Story line: A television show is a comedic drama that looks to a fairly average college student who suffers from a form of insomnia, He drifts in and out of reality and slowly looses his mind. The people he knows become a mix between his reality and sub reality. Basic Plot: Tristan lives in the rainy city of Bellingham were he attends Western an average college. Though Bellingham is a small town Tristan grew up in a back water hole, were at night all that could be heard was the sound of running water. The noises of Western keep him awake. His family and doctor think he will be all right but he knows better for when he try’s to sleep he finds him self in another unfamiliar land. Tristan is accompanied by his room mate Tomtom A narcoleptic who needs to singe the gummy bares song enable to fight his narcoleptic tendencies, also His annoying neighbor Dj the 4 foot black albino midget who wares converse platform shoes and has an afro as large as his body (4 feet tall). Tomtom Tristan and Dj often go out to the back allies behind there home to meet up with Cracky the Crack dealer who is Dj’s best friend and also fist period professor. This comedy will take this crazy bunch of kids and with Tristan and Dj leading the way through all sorts of humorous situations. All the time Tristan will slip in and out of his reality were Dj becomes a supper hero and Cracky becomes a mail box capable of speech. While tomtom turns into a new and different animal. Tristan is a lighthearted character taking nothing for granted he is oddly enough the yen to every one’s yang. Though It seems Tristan see’s thing Every one acts there part. And seems to see it with him but when discussed after words no one remembers any of it. His alternate reality will be a busy city with cartoon people who are stretchy and yet not cartoons. There will be new life form’s some kinds horrible some whiling to help. The longer Tristan does not sleep the longer he spends in his “alternate reality” the question is what reality is the real one and what kind of life is he making in each. This show will be focused on a young adult type audience who will see the seriousness of life in a vary screwed up way. It will hit topics like drugs and the seriousness of life in general .
