Subject: I might have done it as an undergraduate....

I would have seen it as a way to pay off my tuition as well as help someone who REALLY, REALLY wanted kids. I was tall, blonde and in perfect health... it would have seemed a natural 'choice'.

Fast forward 18 years: no way. I know I would have never considered the 'biological freeforall' running around. I would have never thought I'd miss part of me. As a mommy now, it would have killed me to look back and wonder where my ds's brother/sister is.

In the end I think it's awful that they target an audience that isn't ready to look at the big picture beyond the idealisms of youth and money. Talk about getting to people when they're 'down' (maturity wise).

LOF - glad I know where all my eggs are... in one basket.
