but most things to me are just media induced frenzies. So much so, that I dont know what to think is serious and what isnt. So I remain pretty apathetic to it all. Probably not the right approach to take, but everything seems so overblown, then goes away, is nothing. ie, "the drought" here last summer. "We only have 100 days left of water. Dont drink any unless you have to. Dont flush your toilets. Dont breathe on the water." Everyone was freaking out, and Im like - WTF. This isnt drought desertish starving Africa. Mother Nature will take care of us. And sure enough, it rained. And it hasnt stopped since, and now we have so much @#$%^&* water, the Corps of Engineers has to constantly release water from all the overflowing resevoirs.

I guess my point is, I dont know what to think about SARS. I dont know if it is just another overblown thing (yes, I know people have died, but people have also died from the flu this year). This all just stinks of that movie where Dustin Hoffman and Cuba Gooding are trying to save the world from a bio agent that got out.
