Did you send out actually invites or did you just let everyone know the where and the when?

What time of day did you get married? The reason why I ask is because I am not sure WHAT time of day people aren't going to assume they're going to be fed a full-blown meal. Or did you say something on the invites about it being a "cake & tea" reception? How did you word it?

Today, I am leaning toward a small wedding/reception next summer, taking our little tribe to Vegas for 3 or 4 days (no gambling/floorshows, just AMAZING pools/slides for the kiddies) and then having Newman take his kids home, me taking my kids home and then the two of us meeting up again on the East Coast for several kid-free honeymoon days. I know these are complicated plans but Newman and I (and half the kids) can fly free on just about any airline.

Your thoughts/advice?
