Subject: Child Support Debate (m)

A CP is owed, let's say $1000.00 per month in child support. A few years later, the amount is reduced by the judge to $500 per month. Because the NCP has "overpaid" the $500 per month for a couple of months (between the time the issue is filed with the court and decided by the judge), should the NCP continue to pay CS a reduced amount of CS over the course of time (Let's say $300 per month instead of $500) until the credit is gone -- or should they elect not to pay anything until the full credit is gone?

Didja follow that?

And what if a NCP is in debt for, let's say $2000. Should the CP demand that the $2000 be paid immediately or should they expect to receive a bonus hundred bucks per month over the course of a couple of months until the debt is paid?
