Doesn't that just seem a little too pat and trite and easy?

I don't have much of a clue where he's going with the story, but I think/hope that its a LOT more complex than that. I think the Omnius theory is much like having all of your characters get hit by truck at the end. It ties up all the loose ends neatly, but ultimately its not very satisfying. I do believe that Omnius is probably involved somehow (otherwise why send the 'mini-me's into space), but it seems likely that those "face dancer-like" people have to be key players as well.
Why would Frank just randomly put those two (Daniel and whatshername) into the visions of Duncan Idaho? Something tells me it's not just so we can all get a warm fuzzy feeling that the Face Dancers have "escaped" their masters. Also we don't even know if they are actually face dancers, or even descended from them. Maybe they are some other organism that evolved to resemble humans after the scattering, or maybe they are cyborgs, or maybe Duncan just had too much spice beer.
I can't wait to find out!!!!
