Omnius would have to be a major force though, considering the power of the thinking machines. I never really thought the Face Dancers were meant as anything except to show that they were able to gain their own personalities, after all, the other books' endings weren't the beginning, nor had much to do, with the next book.

However, I recall the Futars, and people who brought the Futars. Weren't they chasing the Honored Matres as well? I thought that there was some reference to humans using Futars to chase down the Honored Matres.
