LOOOOOOOONNGGG story real short now:
He sees that there IS talent on stage, quite a lot in fact, but disagrees with the premise that is DSO with (many) shows' seltlist being predetermined and all the other trimmings (sound, EQ, placing of the players, etc). It is simply a difference of opinion and taste and now it can be all over. I know it's not for I have about a hundred posts to read - see what happens when you don't check this site for a couple days - and it won't be in the future, but that's really the BOTTOM LINE. All the mean hurtful jabs and roundhouses, from he and people trying to defend the band, will hopefully dwindle down to nothing very soon. We can pay attention to more important things (N.O.) or at least OTHER things. Though I got to admit this has been fun :)
Nice post JK, by the way. I said many of the very same things to him (regarding music/borrowing/stealing/etc), although not nearly as well nor as detailed.
So now what? To pass the time, how 'bout a lateral thinking problem. A woman was washing dishes when she placed her wedding ring on the window sill. She accidentally hit it with a towel and watched it fall out, barely. It almost stayed on the edge. Anyhow, she didn't make any effort to retrieve it because she knew that she, nor anyone, would probably EVER find it. WHY?
