Remember the birthday party that we didn't go to? Well we just received a bulk e-mail thank-you note that she sent to everyone in her address book. It is something like "thanks for the gift" but it was sent to everyone in her address book and even the people she works with and the people at my brother's school where he teaches. Can this woman really be this tasteless and dense?

My father said that the party wasn't divided up among other families like she told me and the other people at Ian's party. Why does she lie? I honestly could not care less about them and what they do most of the time. It is only when they come up with these elaborate lies and tell me and other people and then later on pretend that they never said such things or change the stories that I get involved.

I do think I forgot to add the little tidbit from a few weeks ago. My aunt in Houston (my mom's half-sister) called to check on me and I talked to her for a while. She was so mad she almost lost her mind. My mother had been bugging her to go to New Orleans for years and they made plans and reservations to go a few weeks ago. My mom insisted that they fly because she didn't want to drive, although my aunt wanted to drive and it was cheaper and a fun drive. So, my aunt told her they would fly but she was paying for her own ticket (my mom the mooch strikes again) Then my aunt called the same day I talked to her and my brother answered the phone.

She was telling my mom that the plans were set and everything was ready to go for the next weekend and then my mom tells her that she has had a "sudden" emergency and wants my aunt to pay for her ticket! My aunt offers to drive again but my mom insists she doesn't want to drive so my aunt say "so sorry" My mom tells her something about how she has more than enough money and that sort of thing but my aunt actually stuck to her guns and said no. SHe had just gotten off of the phone cancelling the hotel and flight reservations when she called me. She told me that she knew tha Joe took her money but wasn't going to say it.

Then I find out that they footed the bill for the entire rental of the city pool for 4 hours. Sil had told me that their 1/4 was going to be almost $200 so if they paid the entire bill...what was that close to $800. Geesh I think it would be nice to be the favorite child for a while.

I am already emotional beyond belief and totally loosing it. Today Robert tells me in the car that he is afraid that I might bleed to death having this baby and leave him to raise 7 kids by himself. He was really upset. What words of comfort did I give him, " I'd only leave you with 6 because I am sure that if I die in childbirth we'd loose the baby at the same time." He almost drove off of the highway in total shock. I have no idea why I said that and I apologized but good God what is happening to me? I am loosing it more mentally than physically. I am only giving this another day or so and then for the sanity of Robert the kids and me I am pressing to go in and get induced.
