Remember Dwayne, the crazy man across the street? The one who was waving pistols at the people who the cops inadvertantly detoured down our street due to a fatality accident on the main road?

Well, I got home around 6:30 and there was a SWAT team, complete with automatic rifles, about a half dozen detectives, another half dozen uniformed cops, and shortly later, an ambulance crew and a fire truck crew.

Dwayne was pinned to the ground. The neighbors had his dog in my yard.

We all nosied about for awhile, but nobody could get drift of what was going on, so I watered the flowers and came in. Shortly later Gerald came over...to get the dog. Then a detective came over to see if we were going to watch it...luckily Gerald said he would.

I came in and mentioned the commotion and Liam said, "Oh, yeah, Tavaris told me that Dwayne is crazier than we thought. He invited Tavaris over to watch an X-rated movie!" Um, it seems I failed to tell my child that it is illegal to entice minors. He thought that since Tavaris didn't go over and nothing happened, it wasn't worth mentioning.

The detective rang my bell shortly later. I told him what Liam said. He interviewed Liam and it turns out this was last fall...when Liam was over in Tavaris' backyard visiting. Dwayne talked to them over the fence and then Tavaris confided in him.

Well, I went over to talk to Anita, and she's not home. Tavaris acted as if he didn't remember it until I told him what Liam said about them being out back...then he remembered. He says he never told his mom about it. Lovely. So, I get to talk to her when she gets home from school in an hour or so. Geez.

I wonder if she'll be in trouble for leaving Tavaris home alone. He's only 11. I know the detective talked to him, so I'm sure they'll be contacting her about this.

Holy moley.

I'd told my kids they were never to talk to Dwayne due to the gun incident. I guess that's a good thing. However, I can't believe that Liam didn't realize it's abuse to OFFER or ENTICE. Sheesh!

On a lighter note, Bobby says he is thinking of buying Mountain Spirit Lodge outright and doing the guide work himself, lol! Wonder if he needs a cleaning lady and two kids who would add atmosphere???? Think I should offer. I'd help him polish his gun anyday.

ROFLMAO.

These hormones are hell. One day I'm 15 and the next I'm 55. Sigh. Menopause is not for sissies!
