The dork across the street "got rid of" some toxic waste in his yard for work. When their bunnies started coming out with extra ears his sister called the authorities because she wanted to be a cop and she really didn't know what was going on. So they evacuated the entire neighborhood.

Then another time (we lived in a duplex? I think is what you call it - brain not working) the police knocked on the door of my aunt and uncle who were living in front of us at the time so they could sneak through to the back without being seen. The kid who lived with his grandma next door to us was discharging a firearm into the air and the people in the trailer park behind us called them. Not that it mattered that once pretty and safe park is over ridden with hoodlums now too.

those were just a couple of things...

My mom's friend was dating a guy who allegidly molested her kids. The only thing is I think she was just pissed off at him and wanted him gone. They didn't act like abused (other than neglect) kids. I've known a couple of women who were abuse sexually...and these kids that I remember had none of those reactions to what had happened to them. All I know is my mom stopped hangging out with the woman (thank god) and I didn't have to babysit her monsters or Dianes again! Yeah, I was like 12 baby sitting her 5, dianes 3 and my sister. My friend (using that term loosely) Steve would "help" me but those kids were just ROTTEN!!!!! Diane's kids weren't too bad when it was just them...plus her oldest was only 2 years younger than me...so she was a huge help with her siblings.

oh the memories...ugh!
