In reply to: Christine 's message, "How did the poor little guy get pink eye again?" on 17:45:13 07/03/06 Mon

said you can give yourself pink eye. That makes me think there must be more than one kind of pink eye. I get it at the drop of a hat...but didn't get it from him last time. She said you can give it to yourself by rubbing your nose, then your eyes, and transfering germs.

Does that sound right? I've never heard that before. I'm just glad I still had the antibiotic drops here!

We're going to tomorrow night's game. It is supposed to be cooler and drier. I hope so! Tonight we're already getting constant booms around here. They're selling major shells around here...like the type you see at professional shows! I'm waiting for someone to kill themselves...or someone else...with one. Then they'll crack down. Fireworks are illegal here...but we're 7 miles from KC proper. Do you really think cops are going to haul their hineys out here to deal with fireworks? The cats are stressed to the gills. This started about 4 days ago. Last year it went on for 2 weeks after the 4th, too.

We didn't get a whole lot done today. Teiguen is feeling better, but he is still just not with it. We did run to Target because they advertised Battlefront II for $16.77. We were there Saturday and I knew they didn't have any then. They still don't...and the kid there wasn't going to give me a raincheck because it isn't something they guarantee to be in stock. I guess he doesn't know about federal laws concerning advertising! Talk about Bait and Switch!

The gal at the service desk did give us a rain check. I told Liam that we'll go to WalMart and see if they have it. They'll honor Target's add and we won't mess with Target. I'm finding that Target is really great about having what they advertise...except in electronics. Then it's a real crapshoot!

Are you still having contractions? Did your midwife come check you today??? You're close enough that she'd let you go ahead and deliver, aren't you? I'm sure you wouldn't mind missing out on being pregnant in the heat of July!
