I'm glad I met you- otherwise I would have assumed the whole denomination was that way!

As dumb luck would have it, during my student teaching I met a teacher whose husband had belonged to that specific group. She didn't even know Scot, but warned me to get away from him.

When she found out that her husband was bisexual she divorced him...and in the chaos of sorting that out, found out that in the entire time they were married he'd never once filed taxes! He filled out the forms, had her sign them, then tossed them in the trash! She warned me that the group at Liberty Lane was known for being cultish...and she wasn't wrong!

I do get updates from the university I went to...but it no longer exists. Another university bought it out. And, at the time I went there, nobody lived in the dorms and there were no sororities, etc, that I knew of. Most of the students were older. I attended class for 3 years with the same group of folks...but never socialized with any of them. My friends were either gals I met in my apartment complex, friends from home, or people I met at work. I can't imagine that any of the folks from school have kept up with each other.
