I've searched. There are no major hotel chains in Lindsborg. A very cute bed and breakfast right on Main Street...I am very tempted by that option. They have rooms for $64. There is one motel...but they don't have prices or photos listed online. Curious, eh?

I guess Salina is just 20 miles down the road, so that's an option.

Here's where you'll think I'm nuts: I am VERY paranoid about getting bedbug bites and bringing the nasty critters home with me!!! You have to seal stuff in plastic for TWO MONTHS to kill them! They can get into your luggage, your clothing, etc. UGH!

I tried to do a search to find a list of motels that have had documented problems, but the Kansas Department of Health doesn't appear to have the info online. I couldn't even find a department there that deals with bugs! Surely they monitor things like weevils and mosquitos at least!

I ended up e-mailing them...and a professor at KU who seems to be the local authority. I just really don't want to have to deal with cooties!!!!
