某朋友的公司上層，指其部門「不務正業」。明明該部門是專注出版事業的，居然搞起公關事務來，頻頻接 Job 為客戶搞推廣活動。
上層見該部門的同事，為這些活動忙昏了頭，某程度上忽略了「正業」的運作，於是開會時不免批評兩句，脫口而出說他們「不務正業」。這四個字，也野帢o重了一點點，多多少少傷了部分同事的心。
朋友申辯說：「可是我們這些 Job，為公司帶來了不少額外收入呀！若果光靠出版業務，以現在的市道來說，根本不可能賺錢……」噢，他不是向上層申辯，而是在我面前「呻」兩句而已。
我苦笑。其實，「不務正業」在港已成為一種大趨勢。我家樓下的一家大酒樓，午市光賣點心炒粉麵飯，不夠其他食店競爭，於是推出「十蚊兩杯咖啡奶茶」、「十五蚊兩杯紅豆冰雜果冰」等，試圖與附近的茶曙U、快孺捧m客路；後來更索性請來日本菜師傅，大搞刺身、壽司套嚏C飲茶搞到可以嘆咖啡食壽司，絕對算是「不務正業」了吧！
還有，便利店賣熟食、郵政局收水電費、區議員搞旅行團等等，統統都是「不務正業」呢！
