Subject: terror on a leash...

My Lady is an absolute terror on a leash. She tries to drag me everywhere and its such an effort to keep her under control. Everything excites her - cars, people, other people's yards, other people's pets in their yards. I can never get her attention in time to give her a big unhappy face and sign "no..bad dog" before shes dragging me off somewhere else. By the time I get her to look at me, she has no idea what the commotion is about. Lady really loves her walks, how can I make it enjoyable for both of us? I've been trying to teach her to look at me by signing "watch me" when she looks at me then rewarding her with a treat and praise. It doesn't seem to be helping on walks though. Also, does anybody know if its okay to give her pieces of baked, boneless chicken as treats? As always, thanks for reading! ~much luv, NaE
