I would appreciate everyone's prayers. This Tuesday May 31st
I meet with the district overseer about a pastoral position.
This is the church that I grew up in 40 some odd years ago.
Most of the congregation are elderly and typically number about 20 on Sunday. The church is struggling financially as well.
Since I fill in there several times a year, they've asked me to fill the position every week. They no longer can afford a full time pastor. If you knew how God has already moved in this up to this point you'd be amazed!
It is very unusal for the denomination to have a pastor in the pulpit each week, who is not ordained in their faith. I've known these people all my life and God knows my desire to help them in anyway.
I want more than anything to help these folks, grow the church, and do God's will. Thanks! and God Bless Rev Jeff
