sort of. I don't really push potty use, never did with my own dd either. I just pretty much figure the kid knows it is there...they know what to use it for and when they are ready they will let me know.

I have a two year old that I am sort of working with but neither mom or I are pushing the issue. She is due soon and wants to wait until she is home so the 2YO doesn't take a step back with training when the baby arrives (pretty smart thinking on her part).

Anyway, if she tells me she has to go...we go. If she doesn't, and I change her diaper...then I just remind her to let me know next time and we can race to the potty. Although mom doesn't want to push it...I think she is coming along great. She is not super verbal, but that is only getting better....so I think her potty use will too.

(plus, I have a cool potty book in the bathroom that she likes to look at when she remembers to go in there...but she can't look at it unless she actually goes potty...she can't just hang out in the bathroom all day...LOL. I used it with dd and they both seem to love it.)
