I will not train any child till I feel they are ready...that is my main stipulation to parents. I also don't even worry about it till they are at least 2 1/2 or show some major signs before that. I do use pullups as a stage...I guess this is an individual choice, they worked fine for me and the last three that went thru the training process. I cannot imagine children being at a providers FULLTIME and that provider not participating in this process...it doesn't make sense to me.....
