Yep...I get to be kinda the bossman so I can get online sometimes! But...it's gonna be kinda crazy I think for a bit. Tomorrow is my first official day...wish me luck...I'm gonna be inventing things as I go along.

I met with the computer/phone guys this morning down at the main office and also got a key to MY space...checked it out this afternoon and I've got a LOT of work ahead of me to get it up and running. General cleaning...sanding/spackling/painting (hopefully done by the landlord)...need the copier to arrive...computers...printer...kitchen installed...contact a plant service to get some greenery in (plus they maintain it)...get a coffee pot, fridge, toaster oven, microwave...more art/pictures for the wall...couch and maybe another chair or two to supplement what is there...hire a receptionist...whew.

I did my first interview last week with a woman I'm not going to hire...can't wait to call her tomorrow and tell her no...not. That part sucks. Good news is that someone from my old place approached me and she wants to come over...I think that she'll be a good fit. Off the bat it's going to be me, a receptionist who'll do post-closing work (getting the package off to the lenders after the closing) and a processor (the person who puts together the loan documents and gets a file ready to close).

It's a bit daunting...but I'm pretty damn jazzed up to get things going.
