FAMILY TREES COMPLETE
-The Historical Society's Family Tree Project is nearing completion and will be posted to the website soon.

RESIDENTS DEMAND SAFER CEMETARIES
-Local residents are demanding safer security at the local cemetary after several graves were reported missing. The hood council is hard at work for a solution and is suggesting that families keep tombstones on thier property. To faciliate with this endeavour, the hood council will issue out $1.000 to families to be used for the building of a personal cemetary. Local resident, Zaida Burrego has agreed to help families recover as many lost graves as possible. This policy will remain in effect until more information about the security of graveyards can be found.

NEW HOOD COUNCIL TO BE ELECTED THIS SIMDAY-SUNDAY
-A new hood council will be elected for a three simweek term (21 simdays). Open positions are Hood Council President, Finanical Director, Community Director. Interested parties are asked to submit thier names this simday and voting will take place shortly thereafter.

HOOD MEDICAL CLINIC OPENS
-The Hood Council is proud to annouce that the Medical Clinic is now open to the public. The current manager of the medical clinic is Jan Dawson. The clinic is open from 10am-6pm daily and features exercise equiptment, small gift shop, plastic surgery services, medicine pick-ups and limited medical training classes on basic skills. Fees made to the clinic go towards the maintanence and upkeep of the clinic, the salary of the manager and employees and continual capital projects.

-Due to an unknown 'glitch', Herendez Art Gallery is closing it's doors and bulldozing it's lot. The family has confirmed that they will open a new location as soon as possible.
-Adriana Tierra Pierce has taken over ownership of downtown's Fashion Runway. The business owner plans to rename the shop Snips and Tucks and sell clothing as well as offer salon services. She is now hiring two cashiers and a salesim for the business.
-CupaJava has unveiled it's new gaming room with more card tables and dart games. Construction is still ongoing with the espresso room and bookstore.
-Farmer's Market has added a kitchen supply section to the market place. Specials of the Moment are: mac & cheese, deli sandwiches, omlettees, and chef salads.
