WEBSITE UPDATED
-The Historical Society's Family Tree Project is complete and posted on the website. The family trees can be downloaded and altered for other hoods usage as well.
-The Food Expo 2006 articles are posted
-The Food Expo 2005 articles are relinked
-The sections are revamped to show TS1 and TS2 articles. Many TS1 articles can be applied to TS2 life.
NEW HOOD COUNCIL BEGIN TERM THIS SIMDAY
-A new hood council has been elected for a three simweek term (21 simdays), thier agendas for thier terms are published below:
*Ayanna Kent-Hood Council President
--Host a family for the SUN Exchange for one simweek
--Participate in all SUN Activities
--Re-Establish fines/community service for conflicts
--Increase local military by building military base and offering military scholarships to university students in exchange for service.
*Ka'obi Sweeny-Finanical Director
--Build upon the current business laws
--Revisit taxes and find an easy system to deduct taxes and fees
--Establish a program for Small Business Loans
--Build a Community Memorial Gardens
--Revamp Celebration Park
*Leroy Mendenhall-Community Director
--Eastablish a Family Day for residents to go outside the home/at home entertainment
--Increase number of parties thrown
--Build a university house
--Reduce discrimination amoung elders
--Encourage groups to meet regularly and correct current group lists
POPULATION BOOMS
-The exiting hood council has released a report about the dynamics of Apple Valley's population and we're growing! Due to the increase of immigration and rising birthrates residents no longer have to fear who will continue to support the hood as we grow older.

WEDDINGS & ENGAGEMENTS:
-Salvador Herendez married to Patricia Harbin in an elaborate ceremony held at the Kent household where Patricia's father, Fidel, and stepmother, Ayanna, paid for the extravagent $20.000 wedding. The bride wore a silk Pronupsims gown with antique ages lace and crystal beading, the groom wore a tuxedo without a shirt. Guests enjoyed a full service bar, DJ, three layer lemon creme cake (Pronupsims) and the dashing exit of the new couple in a strech limo. The couple is expecting thier first child and will be moving to a thier own home shortly.

BUSINESS NEWS
-The Fun House has closed it's doors due to the need to liguidate assets to pay for a fine for fraudalent business practices.

-Construction has started on Euphoria and the resturaunt is scheduled to open it's doors in the next few weeks.
