    *adjusts the sabre protruding over his shooulder and the two knives at his belt. He checks his whip with the metal barbs and then tests his fighting staff with double blades that slide in and out and a steel rod in the center so it won't break. He then takes something out of one of the two black pouches at his belt anddulls all his blades so they won't hurt much, they will only cut and nick his opponent. He puts the whip away and takes out another without barbs.**smiles*Alright Lo. Here it is. I've dulled my blades so they will only nick and cut, I've got other duplicates at home so it won't ruin stuff generally.ready???you get first move*waits at the ready with his staff*

    Alright here's the whole story from the beginning.
    When I was a little 'un,I lived with me mum,dad,and my four other siblings. Well one day these wolves came to the SouthEastern land(where I lived). They found our den and took me against me will. I was only 5 seasons
    They took me to the frostbitin areas of the North where they trained me war tactics. I remember their names too. The wolves were Dannag Peiyr,Seanolia Banrai, and Wraith DarkWing. They were to teach me about war,healing,and poison.
    But one day, a giant otter, named Whitewater came and slayed all three of them for no reason. Before the day they died they told me about an ancient sword. They said it would bring good luck to anybody who found it. They told me the only way you could find it is to find the Four Gems of Devlyhiss. There are clues to find it.
    So do I have any volunteers? I'll tell ye more 'bout it later.

Afew days ago I got a message from a bird over there. *Points to a corner where a large bluejay stands* The letter was from me liddle landlubber of a brother Tortall, 'n'he lives on Kauw Island with a whole buch o' other landlubber freaks'n'some island natives. The natives 'as an idol of a flying cow called Norm, yer see, and it was stolen by a shipful of Woozles from the Heffalump Isles. And now the natives are tres, tres pissed, and are attackin' poor ol' Tortall'n'his pallies, so he wants me ter go retrieve the idol. He says that the Woozles also have a lot of treasure we cudd take, too! *Nods to the bluejay and attemps to write a letter on a scrap of parchment*

    **waking the next morning after the wedding celebrations bladepaw yaws and dons her regular sailors breeches and loose sailors shirt. leaing her sabr on her bunk she tucked a few daggers up her sleves and set out towards the docks.

    yawning once more she crossed the wooden plank that connected the Bloodkeel to Sampetra's shore and walked past the sentries that were lounging at their posts that eyed her lazily and resumed their morning slob around the decks. The blodkeel was in shambles, the deck was dirty and worn down by countless paws, the railing of the fine ship seemed to have crude carvings snaking around the top of the bannister. Where once was a fine finish now was a chipped and crumbling coating, the sails, once noble and red were now patched and damp, barely hedld on by ropes overgrown with moss. Hundreds of battles had scared Bladepaw's prized ship and she wiped away a tear as she looked around and felt anger rising within her. This was her vesel, and she was going to make it the pide of sampetra once again. This ship resembled her too much, an honored vetran that didn't do anything but sit and grow mold. It was time something was done, bladepaw was done talking.
    Stalking over to the sentries, she stood infront of them, claok swirling lightly in the wind, with a face as dark as thunderclouds.** up on yer feet yew worms. If I was years younger I would 'ave a mind tah report yew tah yer athorities **grins** but now I am yer athority, stand up 'an look shapr yew lilly livered scum or ye'll feel my wrath. **as the sentries stood the looked at eachother and one with a peice missing in his ear, stood and spoke** now 'old on a minute there, who says ye'hv got any power 'oer us, I'm a lutenant, 'an 'es a cammander, o unless yew wanna get reported I suggest yew just walk right down tht plank 'an hope we never cross paths again **raising her eyebrows as wide as they would go, Bladepaw looked astonished** yew don' possibly think that there's a higher rank than a commander 'round these parts do you? do you know who I am?
    **the rat snorted** we know who yew are yeh old fart, yer me 'ol grandma, now if'n ye don' want trouble, ye'll get off this 'ere ship.
    **drawing herself up to her full height she looked down at the two sentries and bellowed out** you are standing infront of Rear Admiral Bladepaw of the Bloodkeel and that is a far way from lutenant or commander, now stand or I'll gut yew from where you sit 'an nobeast 'll care otherwise!
    **yelping and jumping to their feet, the rat who had done most of the talking drywashed his hands** we're sorry miss, we didn't mean nothin, why didn't yew say so before... why we jus' thought you looked so young taht we though yer were... a new beast... fidgeting he bit his lip **relaxing, bladepaw eyed the two quivering beast with disgust, they had a reason to tremble and lie, they had called her grandma.** As your punishment, I have things that need doing, that wont distract you from your senty duty. My ship 'ere is looking run down. we are going to repair it. the first thing you will do is go get some new red sailcloth, I will wait here, do you know how much to get? **when the two nodded, Bladepaw sent them on their way with a shout and trned back to look at the sea as the sun rose and the fishing boats came in.**

    *The bat and a group of anxious friends walk together towards the black mountains of Cavyer. Eldri in the lead holds out his hands for the party to stop.* Thank you for coming with me, I am glad I have so many friends that will go with me, *Looks to 'Nata and 'Skar*, but sadly, I must make the rest of this journey alone. *With that Eldri walks into the mountains with nea a glance back. YOu bite your lip hoping this brave bat will come back.*
    (cut scene/ in the mountains,Eldri by himself.)
    *Eldri picks up his axe-pike and begins training hisself with it, slicing a tree in half, he discovers a sword dicolored to an olive green by the sap. He looks at the sword closer and notices that is in perfect condition, except for color. He scrubs at it but to no avail it won't come off. He looks at it closer and sees the ancient writing of the Bartarii language, ancient language of royal bats. On it is the name Eldri SwiftWInd, Son of Lord Cayvyer, his father. THus he gains a new sword.

    He walks on hoping to find something for his love, Lunata. Noticing a pile of rock, he sees something shining. In the rocks the brave bat finds a lup of gold, platinum, and ruby. Maybe he can forge it to somekind of weapon. Eldri looks in his pack, but there in no alloy, so there goes the weapon idea. He then decides to himself that it twill be a necklace, showing his love for her. He finds a smithy soon and had it forged.

    On his way to the mountains, he noticed a large slab of blood-red stone. He takes out his axe-pike and scrawls this message upon it.
    In memory of Jad Dragoon
    A blood-red warrior,
    And a good friend at that.
    Killed by Rehtilz,
    We swear our revenge,
    A hope for a decent verminship.

    On his way back Eldri stumbled upon an old bat cave. He finds some olive green armour, the colour of bat royalty, then dons it. Made of a lightweight mithril, he is still able to fly, but is protected from the keenest sword blade.
    When he dons the armour, he begins to glow, and a second later,
    He looks as though he were a foot taller, a lot more muscled, and more wisdom showed in his eyes.*

    That was my quest and now I am here again.*He presents the necklace, with the word Lunata My Love spelled around the twistings of gold and platinum in rubies.*

He is in a black coat with golden threads along the lineing and cuffs with brass buttons along the ends. *underneath is a fine blue shirt and his faimly emblem on a neckless around his neck. He wears black pants that pull down into Knee hight boots. behind him flutters a black and red cape. The outfit gives him the apperance of royalty.*

    *the black wolf has a large, five-leafed purple flower stuck in her headfur, which was brushed for the occaision, and a black leather choker with a silver cresent moon on it. She wears two layers of Chinese robes, that are made of thin silk and drags the floor slightly. The top robe was powder purple (soft purple, in other words), and was lined with dark purple velvet. The second robe was of powder blue, lined with a darker shade of blue. the robes were tied together by a black sash, and on front of the sash, was the Nytesky family Sacred Seal. A circle was made with a silver Orriental dragon, and inside the circle is a cresent moon made of moonstone. next tot he moon is a silluette of a howling wolf, and daimond stars sparkled above it. Her blue and purple eyes sparkled with excitment and nervousness (if there is such a word) She smiled as her daughter, Ryo-ohki, cameback from giving out the invitations and took her role as the flower girl. Simbrie smiled* I'm here.

    A quest that I'm preparing for...

    *The silver-eyed ermine walks in with a full haversack, journal, and other supplies. She sets them carefully in a spot that will keep them safe and dry until the right time. She produces a long scroll of parchment that she tacks up on the wall.* This quest is for my own personal discovery, for the continued well-being of my mind and soul. Many of you know that I am a healer, trained by the renowned Risan Weirclaw, but not much more. A recent discovery, perhaps a coincidence, has started me on a path to self-discovery, my hidden talents. A few of you may know what I'm talking about, but most do not. So I'll explain. You know that my defining features are my eyes. When I was a small kit, my eyes were not as they are now. *You notice that her eyes are completely silver, pupil and all.* Then, Risan found me. She saw in me a spark and took me from my parents against my will to train me in the healing arts. Ever since, my eyes have gradually become as you see them. It was brought to my attention that that is not a normal process for a healer's apprentice, but the final step of magehood, at least as is true in one part of the world. It is called Silvering. I believe this to be what has happened to me, though not until recently has it 'finished'. I no longer have distinguishable pupils and my eyes glow in odd instances. My healing has changed as well. The power of my salves and poultices has increased, beasts heal faster, and I begin to feel tired, as if extra strength has been drained from me after a healing. Therefore, the quest is this. I must find the origins of my teacher, Risan. She was ever the cautious one and never much a one for reminiscing. I have a few of her journals, from before her tutorage of me, and have discovered that she has gone by at least four other names in her lifetime. In the Mossflower region, Sereli. To the far far south, Tyruiaa, in the north, Crion t'Reaai, and in the island chains to the northwest, Ver 'al'Oprai. The point in this is find out what her true purposes were in teaching me the arts. So, what I need is this. Information. At the moment, I have little to go on from her journals. She writes little more than herbal cures and recipes. I have, however, searched through her writings carefully and marked beasts' names when she mentions them. There are four major ones. The current gatekeeper and healer at Redwall Abbey, an otter named Ridgewood Harrow. A lizard chieftain to the south, called the Great Namswift. A healer who keeps shop in a northern village, a wildcat of the title Sir Granth Stripetail. And a pine marten shaman of a tribe of wild vermin on a small island in the northwest, called by the name Shri 'Uki. So, I need 4 beasts to lead 4 expeditions, each to travel to one of these places and find these beasts to question them about Risan. They must be trustworthy, intuitive, and intelligent. They must be able to decipher truth from lies and keep a low profile. I have details on all these places, of which I will refer to the volunteers in letters. I regret that I will not be able to lead any of these expeditions, for I will be traveling to my homeland, Risan's last known general area of residence, in the Verdant Mountains across the ocean in the direction of the setting sun.
